Protein Profiling

The research clusters investigate the complex interplay between infectious agents and the human host by analysing all proteins involved in the infection process. This will lead to the identification of novel virulence factors and target structures, and will build the basis for the development of new strategies for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
