Functional Quantitative Genomics

Both research clusters address the quantitative analysis and profiling of infectious processes. They aim at unravelling the molecular as well as cellular basis of infections and the identification of factors which contribute to the development and outcome of infectious disease. This knowledge will ultimately serve as a basis for improved methods for the diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases.
